For major World Gymmastics (formerly FIG)-sanctioned competitions, a selection process is required to determined the gymnasts who may, at that point in time, best represent Singapore. The selection criteria is dependent on specific competition/tournament rules and hence may changes from competition to competition. In the case of Major Games (i.e. SEA Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and Olympic Games), the selection criteria must also be in line with and approved by the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC).
All SG Selection Policies are composed of two parts:
A gymnast must fulfill the selection criteria inboth Part A and B to qualify for the final travelling squad.
