Volleyball Singapore is organising the National Referee and Scorer Candidates Course (Indoor Volleyball) 2026 for all volleyball enthusiasts who aspires to officiate at indoor volleyball competitions.

The Referee plays a critical role in the smooth running of the matches and ensuring that official rules of the game are applied and respected. Over and above refereeing and applying the rules of the sport, great competence is required as the man or women in the centre, ensuring fair play and working towards the smooth completion of the competition and with the teams.

The venue for the NRSCC course theory sessions will begin their orientation in the NSA Meeting Office at Sports Singapore and following sessions at Team Nila room and SportSG Auditorium which are all within the same area. Practical sessions will be held at Hougang Sport Hall indoor court.

Course Dates and Time:

Theory Sessions: 7:00pm–10:00pm (4 sessions)

Theory Test: 7:00pm - 9:00pm (1 session)

Practical Sessions: 8:00am–6:00pm (4 sessions)

Course Fee
Referee Course: $180
Scorer Course: $100

The minimum number of participants to conduct the volleyball referee course is eight (8). The participant for referee course is to be 16 years old and above as of 1st January 2026.

The minimum number of participants to conduct the volleyball scorer course is eight (8). The participant for scorer course is to be 14 years old and above as of 1st January 2026.

Closing Date for Registration: 16 August 2026, 23:59 hours
