National Referee and Scorer Candidates Course (Beach Volleyball) 2026

Volleyball Singapore is organising the National Referee and Scorer Candidates Course (BeachVolleyball) 2026 for all volleyball enthusiasts who aspires to officiate at beach volleyball competitions.

The Referee plays a critical role in the smooth running of the matches and ensuring that official rules of the game are applied and respected. Over and above refereeing and applying the rules of the sport, great competence is required as the man or women in the centre, ensuring fair play and working towards the smooth completion of the competition and with the teams.

The venue for the NRSCC for the theory session will be at theCoachSG Room and NSA Meeting Office at Sports Singapore and practical sessions will be held at Yio Chu Kang Beach Volleyball Court.

Course Dates and Time:

Theory Sessions: 6.30pm–9.30pm (6 sessions)
Final Theory Session: 6.30pm–10.00pm (includes 1-hour theory test)
Practical Sessions: Saturday, 8.30am–12.00pm (2 sessions)

* For conversion candidates, they must hold the current referee accreditation and be in good standing. They must also minimally have officiated for 20 sanctioned matches at the current level within the last 1–2 years.

Scorer Course: $80
Referee Conversion Course: $50

The minimum number of participants to conduct the volleyball referee course is two(2). The participant for referee course is to be 16 years old and above as of 1st January 2026.

The minimum number of participants to conduct the volleyball scorer course is two(2). The participant for scorer course is to be 14 years old and above as of 1st January 2026.

Closing Date for Registration: 19 August 2026, 23:59 hours
