The aim of the courses provided by SFA is to enhance the capability developments of local Coaches and Technical Officials:

COACHING COURSE

Singapore Floorball Association has revamped our coaching curriculum to be in line with our major partners, International Floorball Federation (IFF) and Sport Singapore (SportSG). Our coaching courses will be recognised by these two governing bodies, which coaches will be issued certificates from both IFF and SportSG upon completion of course.

National Instructors & Coaches Association (NICA) was formed by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) to be the collective voice to support freelance coaches and instructors from sports, outdoor learning and adventure, visual and performing arts, fitness and wellness, and enrichment, to strengthen skills, standards and opportunities.

In supporting NICA members with skills deepening programmes such as the courses offer by Singapore Floorball Association (SFA), NICA members enjoy lower course fees through the Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) which provides 50% subsidy of the balance unfunded course fee, up to $250 per calendar year. Till 31 December 2025, NICA members aged 40 years and above will enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per calendar year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fee.

Level 1 Technical Coaching Course

Pre-requisite:
1. 18 years old and above 
2. Undertake Skills Assessment Test and obtain 60% pass in order to participate in Level 1 Technical Coaching Course.

To test participants basics of passing, dribbling, game concepts and other aspects. 

Level 2 Technical Coaching Course*

Pre-requisite:

1. 18 years old and above
2. Attended and obtained SFA Level 1 Refresher Course 
3. Submit coaching CV, include achievement and number of years of coaching
