Job Description: Team Manager of the Singapore Women’s National Team

Singapore Floorball Association is looking to engage a Floorball Team Manager for the Women’s National Team in preparations of the various upcoming competitions i) Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games 2024, ii) Women’s U19 World Floorball Championship 2024, iii) Women’s Asia-Oceania Floorball Confederation Cup 2024

Role: Team Manager, Singapore Women’s National Team

Reports to: Singapore Floorball Association

Work with: Singapore Floorball Association High Performance Sub-Committee Head Coach, Coaching Team, and Athletes

Purpose: To provide administrative support to the Singapore Women’s Floorball Coaching Team. This involves working alongside National Coaching Team, players in the National Training Squad and High-performance Sub-Committee.

 

Main Responsibilities

  •  Support the coaching team in the execution of training and competition plans.
  • Facilitate communication between the athletes, the coaching team, the High-Performance Sub Com and the Singapore Floorball Association when necessary.
  • Liaise and coordinate marketing efforts for sponsorship activations.
  • Organise team’s administration to prepare and lead the team for various overseas competitions.
  • Continue to facilitate the development of a positive team culture.
  • Ensuring team’s compliance with rules and policies.
  • Occasional travel with the team may be required if the competition is held overseas.

 

Position Requirements

  • Female applicants only
  • Singaporean Citizen
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to players, team and key stakeholders.
  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor interactions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong passion and commitment towards sports.
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team to cope with a changing environment while achieving goals.
  • Commitment to weekday (Tuesday and Thursday) evenings and some weekends during competition periods.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
