Following the success of our recent TeachSAQ Workshop - Complexity of Swimming, we are delighted to welcome Chris Martin back again - WHAT's NEXT? Edition. Chris brings extensive experience in leading well‑established national swimming teams through consistently successful and winning seasons, offering valuable insights into high‑performance program development and leadership.

Through a clear understanding of the fundamental principles of the 3B’s, coaches learn how to establish a strong foundation that supports each swimmer’s development and paves the way for sustained success in the future. This workshop will be extending knowledge of the four fundamental strokes, coaches are better equipped to maximise each swimmer’s potential as they grow — especially during the crucial pre‑adolescent stage, where building coordination, confidence, and physical literacy is key. This phase of development is essential in shaping well‑rounded swimmers, ensuring they progress safely, effectively, and with the right technical foundation for long‑term performance

This is more than an opportunity to learn; it is an invitation to grow together as a coaching community - coaches are encouraged to revisit the fundamentals that shape strong foundations—not only for swimmers, but for themselves as educators and leaders. Through shared learning, curiosity, and collaboration, we strengthen our collective knowledge, inspire one another, and create pathways for sustained success.

Together, we build confident coaches, empowered athletes, and a connected community that drives excellence—today and into the future.
