Please Note: This course is intended for NROC Coaches who are holding on to a SwimSafer Instructor certification that has expired or is expiring on December 2023. 

***The deadline for enrollment in the renewal program is March 31st, 2024. Eligible instructors who missed the registration may submit an application form for review: https://forms.gle/W8Zw2WJruLPetBLn7
Each application will undergo individual review. The processing of applications may take up to three weeks. 

To be eligible for the SwimSafer Instructor Renewal Programme, make sure you meet these prerequisites:
✅Valid Reason for the late registration
✅Registered NROC Full Membership for Swimming (Coach, Senior Coach, Master Coach)
✅Member of TeachSAQ/CoachSAQ (Register here: https://www.revolutionise.sg/sgswim/registration/)
✅Hold a SwimSafer Recertification - Certificate of Participation Practical Module or a SwimSafer Instructor Certificate/Card (Expires 31st December 2023)
✅Successfully completed "Understanding Safe Sport as a Coach" on SportSG-ED 

*Please note that once you have receive an email from us confirming your registration, 2 links to the online quizzes will be sent to you. Upon recieving the links, you will have a 3 week window to complete the quizzes with only 1 attempt permitted. The quizzes will be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). It is essential to achieve a perfect score to meet the renewal criteria. Failure to attain 100% will necessitate attendance at an additional requirements session.

Here is flow of our SwimSafer Instructor Renewal Programme:

1. Register for TeachSAQ/CoachSAQ at: https://www.revolutionise.sg/sgswim/registration/
    
2. Eligible instructors who missed the registration may submit an application form for review: https://forms.gle/W8Zw2WJruLPetBLn7

3. Each application will undergo individual review. The processing of applications may take up to three weeks. 
   We will send you a link to register on our platform once we have verified your eligibility.
4. Emails that you might receieve after registering:
   • You may have submitted an Online Module Certificate instead of a Practical Module Certificate; You may have submitted a blank certificate
   • You may have submitted an expired NROC E-card, or submitted the wrong screenshot.
   • You may have submitted the wrong SafeSport Certificate. Please take note that we are looking for the 'Understanding Safe Sport as a Coach' Certificate.
     • Once you have successfully resubmitted the documents or information needed, you will receive an email with 2 links to the online quizzes.
   • An email notifying that you might have missed the previous Practical Module Renewal and that you may fill up a google form to join the 'Missed Re-certification programme'.
   • An email with 2 links to the online quizzes.
      
5. After completing the 2 quizzes, you will receive an email 1-2 weeks after the dateline. 
   Emails that you might reveive after completing the 2 quizzes:
   • An email stating that you have completed the SwimSafer 2.0 Instructor Renewal Programme.
   • An email stating that you will have to attend a zoom workshop as your final step in the renewal process.
   • An email stating that you have to attend both a physical workshop and a zoom workshop. 
      
6. After completing the zoom workshop or both physical and zoom workshops, you will receive an email stating that you have completed the SwimSafer 2.0 Instructor Renewal Programme.
    
7. In 2-3 weeks after receiving the completion email, you will receive an email saying that your SwimSafer 2.0 Instructor Renewal is ready to be viewed in your account.

Zoom Workshops Schedule

These are the dates for our Swimsafer Instructor Renewal Programme. This Zoom Workshop is only applicable to those who are eligible. Coaches who are eligible for the Zoom Workshop will receive an email with the registration link.
